Superb Cool display fridges use Low-E double or triple glazing with argon-filled warm edges and a thermal-break frame, plus on-demand perimeter heating. The glass stays clear and fog-free at 25°C/60% RH and even 30°C/75% RH — no condensation on the door, no hidden electricity spike.

  • Heating is demand-based, not always-on: it runs only after door openings or in humidity spikes.

Frost-free with automatic defrost

Every fan-cooled Superb Cool cabinet is frost-free with automatic defrost: a timed heater melts ice into a pan evaporated by compressor heat, so staff never stop to chip ice. Chest freezers use anti-frost doors that suppress frost at the source.

  • Auto-defrost as standard on glass door display fridges, back bar and countertop display fridges — basic cleaning once a year.
  • Short, low-power heater cycles a few times a day; temperature dips only briefly and within food-safety limits (Dixell digital control).
  • Manual-defrost models cost less and hold temperature steadier, but need a periodic stop to de-ice — fine for back-room storage, not front-of-house display.
  • Spec it properly: defrost method + cycle + duration + temperature rise + annual service — easy to schedule and to show inspectors.

R290 compliance and safe transport

R290 (propane, GWP 3) is a natural refrigerant that is not an F-Gas — no leak-check, no logbook, no Australian SGG levy. Each unit's small charge (hundreds of grams, within the lower flammability limit) ships as ordinary cargo under IMDG SP277: no dangerous-goods certificate, no freight penalty.

  • Factory-built anti-leak design; charge kept inside the LFL per IEC 60335-2-89 / EN 378.
  • Transport: IMDG SP277 exemption — non-restricted general cargo, no 2.1-class declaration. We supply a Chinese/English transport-condition opinion ("Non-Dangerous Goods / SP277") + R290 MSDS + charge statement.
  • Installation and service require a certified technician (EU F-Gas certificate; AU Refrigerant Handling Licence) — we provide multilingual R290 safety training.
  • Packaging: moisture-proof film + EPS corner guards + wooden pallet/crate, silica gel, "MOISTURE SENSITIVE" label; CIF + all-risks insurance recommended.

CBAM-ready, low carbon footprint

Finished display cabinets (HS 8418) are outside the current CBAM scope. Where the aluminium and steel content crosses the 50-tonne annual threshold, we supply a bill of materials with embedded-emission data — and our R290 + cyclopentane design keeps the footprint low from day one.

  • CBAM today covers steel, aluminium, cement, fertiliser, hydrogen and electricity — not the finished fridge, but its aluminium fins / steel shell are CBAM goods.
  • We deliver per-model BOM (steel / aluminium net weight, foam weight and blowing agent) + plant energy and emission notes for actual or EU-default declaration.
  • R290 (GWP ≈ 3) + cyclopentane blowing agent beat R134a / R404A on carbon — supports green-procurement and ESG storytelling.
  • Timeline: 2026 imports → buy certificates from 2027-02-01 → first annual report by 2027-09-30. Lock "supplier provides BOM + embedded emissions" into the purchase agreement now.

Market-entry certifications, EU and Australia

We certify per model, not per company: EU CE (LVD + EMC + ErP + RoHS) with a model-level Declaration of Conformity, an EU representative, and an EPREL QR energy label; Australia GEMS / MEPS + RCM, 240V/50Hz, T4 (38°C) tropical class.

  • EU: model-level DoC listing each model (e.g. SC-27R / SC-54F) + LVD/EMC test reports from recognised labs (TÜV / SGS / Intertek), kept ≥10 years; EU representative on the nameplate.
  • EU: EPREL registration + QR energy label completed before placement; online sales show the label and fiche beside the price.
  • AU: GEMS/MEPS registration + Energy Rating Label; RCM (safety + EMC, via SAA); 240V/50Hz, AS/NZS 3112 plug; T4 tropical class for Australian summers.
  • All models locked to 50Hz with destination plugs pre-fitted — no frequency mismatch, no customs or electrician hold-up.
